Funding Tracker

Every named grant, contract, and financing mechanism found in the City's own reports plus independent research — including the GTA electric-bus funding history and White Street Landfill renewable assets that neither Progress Report mentions.

In plain terms

This page tracks whether an energy goal has real money behind it — a specific grant or contract — or whether it's just a stated intention with no funding source found. A goal having no listed funding doesn't necessarily mean it's unfunded; it means no named source was found in the records checked so far.

Funding vs. reporting, at a glance

Every one of the 21 department goals, cross-tabbed by funding source and whether it was reported on in 2025.

None of these five grants (2016–2024) appear in either SEP source document — found via independent research. The 2024 FTA grant is publicly credited by Greensboro's Transit Director to the 2022 Strategic Energy Plan.
